Canyon Lake Water Service Co (CLWSC) rate increases
AirLife Angel Ambulance Service Information
If you are interested in affordable life flight insurance:
Canyon Lake Village Civic Association (CLVCA) became a member of the Hill Country Neighborhood Coalition (HCNC) when collective protests by area civic and home owner associations were made concerning increased water rates.
Canyon Lake Village is eligible through partnership in HCNC for AirLife Ambulance Service for the reduced annual rate of $10.00. The discounted rate is available because the Village and other civic groups are considered 'corporate' under HCNC.
The Hilltop Reporter area newspaper reported that San Antonio AirLife is one of the oldest and largest companies providing air ambulatory service to Comal County. Registration as a member with AirLife insures that if transportation after an accident or trauma event is required by air ambulance, then AirLife will assume all expenses not covered by the participant's medical insurance. Without insurance, this type of transportation can be very costly.
The AirLife air ambulance takes a patient to the closest trauma center. An auto decal is provided to designate preferred service. San Antonio AirLife is not the only air ambulance company that provides service to Comal County.
The civic association is not endorsing this service; however, it was deemed important to inform the resident members that this service is available at a reduced rate.
